Not exactly the best photos, but I tried my best. This is from a swab of my dog’s toes. The fungus is whiteish-grey-yellow with small black spots on the top (left) and yellowish-brown on the bottom. It has completely covered my plate and did so within just a few days. It didn’t seem to grow radially as my others did, but instead has stalks that filled the entire plate, reaching off the agar to the top of the plate. I think it looks like Mucor racemosus, but I think it’s a lot less brown than mucor, and perhaps less yellow on the top. This is mostly because it’s hard to tell since there is so much in the plate.
