The two samples plated on each medium are the mold from rye bread and the dark spots of a persimmon. The mold from the rye bread has overtaken the entirety of the petri dishes for both media, with some different fungal growth around the persimmon samples. PDA (bottom) appears to be a better medium given the multitude of colonies for the blue mold have merged together since they are larger, whereas the CMA (top) has more scattered colonial growth with smaller colonies.
