1) The sources are a rose petal and rose bush leaf taken from the rose garden on Burnaby Mountain.
2) The fungi on the PDA plate has spread out much than the fungi on the CMA plate (there some bare spots).
3) I think PDA is a better media in this case. A larger quantity of fungi has grown (completely covered the leaf) and seems to have a few layers. The fungi on the CMA plate is neither large in quantity nor species richness.
