1) I noticed a whitish growth in the soil and took a sample from that
2) I don’t know if it was growing on detritus or the soil, but it looked like fungi
3) I expect to see low fungal growth (perhaps none if it isn’t even fungi) since the fungi was localized to one small area in the pot
