-Samples taken from an orange peel and a yellow spinach leaf.
-The dark fungus from the spinach has almost taken over the PDA plate while it remained relatively small on the CMA plate. It is difficult to see in the photo but the orange peel in the CMA plate has slightly larger growth of hyaline mycelium which might be attributed to less competition from the spinach fungus.
-The PDA plate is definitely a better growth material at least for the spinach.
