This fungi was sourced from a rotten garlic on PDA media. It can be seen that the fungi has spread quite rapidly as it covers the entire plate. The fungi appears to be in dot like clusters with shades of green. It appears to have a rough texture and it’s elevation is fairly flat. I infer this fungi is likely Penicillium due to the morphology and it’s common growth seen on rotten fruit/vegetables. A difference is that this colony looks light cream and smooth from the bottom, but the top is green with a thin white border which is seen in Penicillium.
