This fungus was isolated from the air in my kitchen. It has an unappealing green colour on the top with a dark green rim around the edges, and a dark green colour on the bottom. The colony has a nice round shape with a grainy texture and a dimple in the center.
Based on the morphology, I think this mold is Cladosporium herbarum. I don’t see any notable differences between the mold I grew on my PDA plate and the image of C. herbarum in our lab 1 slides.
