-Samples taken from western red cedar and oak fern leaves.
-Very beautiful green growth from the cedar sample with a more saturated color on the CMA plate. The oak fern fungal growth on the PDA is much larger both in terms of surface area and height, it reaches to the top of the petri dish.
-The cedar fungus seems to grow better in the CMA plate perhaps due to a lack of competition but overall the PDA sustained more growth.
