The source I tested was a small piece of my cats fave plant leaf tissue. The left side of the image is the bottom and the right is the top. The morphology of the top of the fungi is a green colour that fades to a white colour near the edges, the texture of the fungi is fuzzy. The bottom of the plate has the same green colour but its towards the edges of the fungi and the white part is near the middle. With the characteristics of the top its most similar to Aspergillus fumigatus, its different from this species with the colouring of the bottom being reverse, this might be due to multiple different growths of the a. fumigatus and them growing on top of each other and competing for resources.
