This colony grew from where I cut a chive. This is growing on a CMA plate.
On the top, it is greyish green, but on the bottom it is almost black. The colony grows radially and has a very small white edge. (almost non-existent) It is flat. The growth rate is relatively slow, although this may be due to the CMA media vs PDA media.
This to me looks most like Cladosporium herbarum due to the colouration. A difference is that my sample does not have the strong green border that Cladosporum herbarum possesses, but this may be due to my colony being relatively younger and having yet to produce that structure.
