I sampled some water from a very dirty looking creek. I noticed some ducks in and around the water so I was curious if there are fungal spores perhaps carried by these birds? I expect to see low fungal growth because I sampled directly from the water. Although it was dirty water, I don’t believe I caught a lot of mud or anything in my sample, so I don’t know if there would be lots of fungi in my few drops.
