This pink fungus was isolated from a maple leaf I found near a maple tree outside my house. It’s been grown on PDA. It’s definitely the prettiest of all the fungi I’ve grown. The pink colony appears to be growing radially; it’s a lighter pink on top, and a darker pink on the bottom. The mycelium are very fluffy on both sides. The top reminds me of the top of Fusarium oxysporum, but the bottom reminds me of the bottom of fusarium graminearum. There appear to be other fungi growing on the colony though so identifying it may be difficult.
