This polypore fungus was found growing in Surrey, BC, on a fallen tree. This is a non-gilled, non-capped, polypore fungus. It features a multi coloured top with growth rings, which is darker at the centre, and lighter towards to edge. The underside is beige. The surface is smoothish, and the edges are wavy.
I think this is a Trametes versicolor [turkey tail] fungus.
