Sample was obtained from swabbing the exterior of a clay pot that showed clear signs of mold growth. Fungi is yellowish with white edges on the bottom and has white edges fading to a green on the top. Growth pattern is highly irregular with many small colonies of identical fungi growing. High sporulation leads to the many small colonies. Based on growth pattern it looks like a Penicillium sp., but due the the different colour of the bottom it is most likely not Penicillium cherysogenum.
