-Isolated from a tree seed pod that was beginning to decay.
– It might be two molds because the seed pod is surrounded by a pure white mold with a dark brown/orange underneath. The rest of the plate is covered in a light brown/white mycelium that’s light brown on the bottom.
-It does not immediately resemble any of the molds from our lab. It is somewhat similar to Cykindrogarpon destructans which has a white mycelium with some orange on top and the bottom is a burnt orange. My mold is somewhat orange however there is no color on the top.
