For my next sample I took some water out of this stagnant puddle I found in Burns Bog. It definitely did not look very clean and had a lot of decaying leaf matter in it. I think I will see a lot of growth on my plate from this sample. This puddle had no stream flowing through it and I think that will increase my chances of seeing growth and it was very close to fungi that were growing out of a tree near by.
