This a PDA plate that contains my indoor soil sample. The left side is the top and the right side is the bottom. The top has a white and grey-green appearance while the bottom has a white-yellow colour. The growth rate of this mold is quite fast as well, covering the whole plate. I think this mold resembles aspergillus fumigatus the most because of the green-like interior and fuzzy edge, but overall it doesn’t look like any of the fungi shown in the lab slides because it has a yellow bottom with white patches.
