I took a sample of soil from my money tree plant. It has been growing in this pot for several years now, and the soil is a mix with perlite in it. I chose this as I’m curious to know how many fungi are growing in the soil at my house. I cannot see anything currently growing in the soil that would cause me to think there are many fungi. I know soil has a lot of fungi, but I expect to see less than what I find in outdoor soil samples.
