This mold is likely from some very moldy cheese I sampled. It is vaguely circular, and would probably be perfectly circular if it had not grown up against the edge of the plate. The top is a very dark green, and the bottom is nearly black. The top is quite fluffy. This mold grew very slowly, and took a while to start growing. I think this is Cladosporium herbarum, as they look very similar. This mold does not have the light brown edges seen in Cladosporium, but I think with more time to grow it may start to show them.
