Both samples are leaf samples taken from two completely different bushes. The top sample came from a leaf I stole from my neighbour’s bush since it had interesting purple splotches. The bottom leaf sample came from the bush of a different neighbour since their bush was covered in black spots and looked quite sick.

CMA displays some white fungi growth for both samples. PCA has a large greenish-brown mold growth for the top sample, and larger and more opaque growths of white mold for the bottom sample. Based on the significant differences in colony sizes for each sample on both plates, I conclude that PCA is a better media.
