This is a sample from small plant. The left side is the stem of the plant, the right side is leaf of the plant.
The CMA plate has more variety of fungus compare to the PDA plate. Also, the CMA plate grow much faster than PDA plate. The fungus in CMA plate almost covered the whole plate. The PDA plate didn’t have much growth of fungus.
I think CMA is the better media in this case. Because of the faster growth and more variety of fungus.
