This is a sample from large plant. The left side is the stem of the plant, the right side is leaf of the plant.
The CMA plate has more variety of fungus compare to the PDA plate. PDA plate didn’t have pink fungus. Also, the CMA plate grow much faster than PDA plate. The fungus in CMA plate have spread out much more compare to the fungus in PDA plate.
I think CMA is the better media in this case. Because of the faster growth and more variety of fungus.
