For these plates, the left sample is cooked rice and the right sample is from a rotting pumpkin. The rice does not appear to show any fungi growth on it for both media, however the pumpkin sample is quickly taking over the plate. Both fungi on the pumpkin sample from the two media are growing very well, however since the one in PDA has a slightly larger radius, I’d have to pick PDA as the better media.
