This fungus was isolated from a soft rotten looking mini eggplant. The tissue of the plant was unhealthy because it was brown in colour. The top of this fungi is white with a light brown undertone and the texture is kind of fuzzy. The bottom of it, is dark brown with a faint light brown border. I can’t tell what type of growth pattern this fungus exhibits because it is growing in one direction from the sample (not really a circle). This fungus looks the most like a Thielaviopsis basicola mold because this mold also has the same colour scheme as the unknown fungus. The only difference I see is, that the mold in our notes is more defined in a circular shape and has an evident dark center with a light brown border. And I think the reason the unknown fungus is not in a circular shape with a evident dark center is because it needs more time to grow and develop.
