This mushroom grew on soil in a forest. The sunken cap has a red colour in the middle and the margin is eroded. The beige margin is tomentose. The gills are subdistant and have adnate attachment. The gill thickness is average with ventricose breadth. The stipe is fibrous and there are no remnants of veils. This mysterious mushroom may be
related to Laccaria which also have fibrous stipes and spaced gills.
