This fungus is isolated from a red healthy leaf outside my house. The fungi is growing in a downward direction from the sample and looks like tiny black dots, resembling charcoal chalk dust specs. The bottom also looks the same as the top. The growth rate of this fungus seems slower compared to other fungi because even in week 4 it has not grown as much or even spread around the plate too much. I think this fungus resembles to Sclerotium cepivorum mold the most because of the black tiny dot morphology. The only thing I do not see evidently is the brownish white mycelium on the unknown fungus. But other than that I think the tiny dots are sclerotia which are growing over white and as of now transparent mycelia. However, the sides of the unknown fungus do have a light brown undertone which is indicating that this fungus could be Sclerotium cepivorum as well. Probably just needs more time for the mycelia to develop its light brown colour on which the sclerotia grow.
