This was from my halloween pumpkin. On top is the PDA, it is difficult to see in this photo, but there is more growth on the PDA plate. From the bottom side of the plate I am also able to see more colonies of different fungal species on this plate under the mass of mycelium. The CMA does not show this same growth under the mycelium. Therefor I believe the PDA is a better plate.
