This is a pond at a local park where you can often see ducks swimming around. The good part is, the water looks clean. The bad part is, the water looks clean. Along the shores of the pond, there are mostly mossy rocks and tall grasses. I expect there to be few if any fungi found in my water sample. I could not see many molds, and bacteria will probably out-compete the fungi in my petri dish. Still, I want to confirm my suspicions.
