Isolated from this source was a pine cone. The pine cone was collected from the pine tree, undamaged and healthy. It is undamaged because the structure of the pine cone is still intact, and it is healthy because was still on tree and receiving nutrients. We should expect to see large growth of fungi, as there is water, oxygen and carbon sources present.
