The left plate is the CMA plate, and the right plate is the PDA plate. Both plates are soil sample taken from my backyard. Both plates in the picture were taken from the top of the plate. The PDA plate seems to have much more growth compared to the CMA plate, even to the point where the fungi has started to cover the soil. Overall in terms of growing fungi, the PDA plate is better in this case, since the PDA plate has significantly more fungi compared to the CMA plate.
