A maple leaf and palm tree leaf, from trees in front of my home, were plated. CMA plate -for both leaves- have more uniform growth compared to the PDA which has more tiny separate spots. Color in each plate appears to be the same for both leaves. I would say PDA is better for growth for both leaves, as growth is more spread out onto the plate, and is not as contained to one spot like in CMA.
