This is a very interesting fungi I found on the ground of Burns Bog. The cap had a depressed shape with a torn margin (lacerate). The top of the cap did look fairly smooth. The gills appear to be branching and looked to be firmly attached (uncinate). The stem was central and terete (round and hollow) and no veil was observed. I could not observe any cap without digging it up but this was the only one around so I left it alone. Due to the branching gills and shape this fungi looks most look the fungi Cantharellus.
