1) This is a fig from my fruit basket that we never got a chance to eat. 2) Most the tissue was sprouting a fuzzy mold already but some of the fig skin was still healthy. I wanted to see if presence of other mold encouraged more mold or not. 3) I expect to see high levels of fungus on the fuzzy skin and moderate amounts of fungi on the healthy skin. Mostly because there is already mold present, so there would be more fungi and vice versa for the healthy skin.
