Samples taken from a cone and needle of an evergreen tree. Fungi is a light yellow, tan-brown color, with tiny dark brown or black specks towards the tops of very fuzzy mycelium growth (couldn’t get a good picture of the specs because they were so small, but visible when looking closely at plate in person). Appears to have rapid growth as it took over pretty much the entire plate from both the samples on it. Back is the same color as the top. I think that this is a Mucor raceosus due to it’s fast growth, coloration and the tiny little speckles which could indicate zoosporangia which the Mucor raceosus has.
