This fungus was found from a leaf sample and colonized rapidly. In just 2 days, pigmented colonies were found on the leaf.
Each colony was small, and combined to form a few irregularly shaped colonies it was overgrown by other fungi in the plate.
The colonies are a fuzzy blue green with a white border around it. This mold is probably Penicillium chrysogenum based on its colour. Since the colonies are not very well developed, identifying this mold by orphology alone is very unreliable.
