This fungus was isolated from the air in my kitchen.
The colony is circular in shape and a bit translucent at the edges. The top is flat and light brown in colour, while the bottom is darker brown or black. The colony also has a white rim.
Based on the morphology, I think this is Ulocladium atrum. Comparing my mold to the lab 1 photo of U. atrum; my mold’s white rim is more translucent and the top lacks the grainy texture on the lab photo, but I still think this is U. atrum.
