This is a photo of an umbrella tree. There are brown leaves (dead leaves) shown in the photo, therefore the tissue sampled was not healthy (it is dead and damaged). I predict that sampling the brown dead leaves results in moderate to high fungal growth on the plates. This is because dead leaves will most likely have fungal growing on it than the healthy green leaves. I am very interested to see whether my hypothesis is correct or not.
