For my first sample I collected a leaf from this plant I found in Burns Bog. The leaf that I took definitely did not look very healthy especially when compared to the other leaves which were still a vibrant green colour. This one was starting to turn yellow and had brown spots all over. I expect to see a lot of fungal growth as Burns bog is heaven for Fungi (wet and warm) and I don’t think I have ever gone for a walk there and not seen a fungi.
