This fungus was sampled from the kitchen air (near a leaky water pipe). After around 10 days there were visible radial colonies growing around the dish. The top of the fungus has a brown/black color and the bottom is black with a white circle around the edge. Given these characteristics, I would identify this fungus as Cladosporium Herbarum.
