These mushrooms were found in a family friend’s backyard in Squamish, BC. It is a gilled mushroom with a knobbed cap shape. It also has an even margin and a smooth cap surface. The gills appear free and uncinate, while the stem appears to be central, equal, and of ribbed surface. Based on its features such as the cap shape, I believe this mushroom belongs to the genus Inocybe.
