I left these plates open for 1 hour in my house. The top plate is the PDA, which shows a very large growth of mycelium. The CMA however has some bacteria (mucoid colonies) but only a singular relatively small colony of fungi. The PDA plate is therefor a better media to isolate and culture fungi.
