I took a sample from an old sponge used to wash dishes. I did it because the sponge was stinky and I wanted to test if that was caused by fungi. I expect to see high fungal growth since the sponge generates a moist, nutrient-rich environment and there is definitely a lot of things growing in there from the way it smells.
