1) I am looking at the opaque white fungi. This is a piece of grass taken from Burnaby Mountain. It was plated on my PDA plate.
2) The fungi is quite opaque and white looking. It seems to be hairy too. Not much has spread out and only thinly outlines the grass piece.
3) I think this fungi could be Clonostachys rosea because both are fuzzy, opaque, and white. However, other fungi can fit this description and if my fungi had grown sclerotia or other fruiting bodies, I could narrow down my options as to fungi it may actually be.
