This fungus was isolated from my bedroom air (1 hour). The bottom is red, and the top is yellow/brown with white on the edge. Grow rate was slow in the beginning, and the growth pattern was uniform. This fungus seems to be Epicoccum nigrum. However, the top of the plated fungus is consistent with the description of E. nigrum where its colour is very colourful with orange, brown, black and red.
