The fungi was isolated from the skin and flesh of an old potato.
The top of the fungi is white with a fluffy texture, like a pile of undisturbed dust. The bottom of the fungi is black and yellow, alternating between the colours in rings. The growth rate appears moderate, and appears to be attempting radial growth at the edge of the plate.
This fungi looks most like cylindrocarpon destructans due to the colouration of the top and the bottom matching somewhat. It is also a known pathogen of root tissue, which is where I isolated the fungi from. However, my sample does not have any orang on the top, and the bottom is more yellow than orange.
