The fungi in this sample was sourced by swabbing dark spots on my shower curtain. The mold is a pinkish red colour on the top and the bottom, with white fluffy mycelium growing outwards. It was growing rapidly in the first week, but then the growth stopped, possibly because of competition from the other molds in the petridish. From the morphology, this mold appears to be Fusarium oxysporum as they are both redish in the centre with white fluff growing on the surface.
