I sampled the air by placing these plates outside on our front porch. Both media types display growth of white molds, however PCA has a considerably greater amount of brown colonies. The brown colonies are more numerous and larger in size on PCA compared to CMA. Due to the presence of more fungi species and the larger colony sizes on PCA, I conclude that it must be a better media type than CMA for this sample.
