I decided to swab the inside of my compost bin, because sometimes I see mold growing in there if I don’t wash it for too long (and it can be a bit of a “black swamp” inside, so perfect for fungi). I expect to see high fungal growth because it hasn’t been washed in a while and any fungi in there gets a lot of nutrients from food scraps.
