The sample I used here was of dust from my dining room carpet after I had vacuumed it. I chose to sample this as the carpet is relatively close to my back door and as such I would assume that someone (or potentially my dog) could bring something in from the backyard. I hypothesize that there would be a some fungal growth, but not too much, as my brother and I vacuum every week. (I really hope there isn’t too much)
