This was a sample from a brown apple piece. It is white on the bottom and top, and it appears smooth with no fuzz. The growth started off very slow, but then very fast. When looking closer you can see threads within it. Because it’s completely white and lacks fuzz, I think it may be Geotrichum candidum.
